My thesis was originally saved under the name "thesis.doc."
Then it became "thesis version 1-1" I thought that was logical.
"thesis version 1-2" followed by "thesis version 1-3", etc. It made sense.
I then submitted, in May, "thesis final version."
In June, when it was obvious that it wasn't final, I started saving it under "thesis version 2"
Then 2-1, 2-2, and so on.
I submitted it as version 2-7.
My 2nd revision was "Thesis version 3.doc"
Then 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, and so on.
I submitted it as version 3-4.
I eventually reached "Thesis version 5-2.doc"
Finally, yesterday, when I thought all I had to do was the final changes on my conclusion, I titled my file "Thesis almost almost almost done.doc"
This morning, I found out my one of my committee members has been laid off (meaning I have to find a new member who will want to do revisions) and my other committee member felt he should add some more revisions.
My new file is called : "Thesis version Goddamn It All To Hell.doc"
I think I'm losing my patience.
